Thank you for your interest in support of the Objective Zero Foundation!

Without your support, we would be unable to advance our mission of combating suicide in the military and veteran community.

Why Donate to Objective Zero?

Objective Zero addresses challenges to care and support by instantly and anonymously connecting service members, veterans, their families, and caregivers to peer support and mental health and wellness resources.

With roughly 17.2 veterans and service members taking their lives each day at a rate higher than the civilian population. Veterans ages 18-34 are at the highest risk. There are a number of factors that may contribute to the higher rate of suicide and we seek to address barriers to care through technology. We can reach people wherever they are. Some veterans do not have reliable access to the proper wellness and mental health resources due to their location, availability, or due to cost, while others are reluctant to reach out for help because of the stigma associated with doing so. The Objective Zero App allows those within the military and veteran community to get connect with a peer, that’s been where they’ve been, done what they’ve done, and seen what they’ve seen. Objective Zero is committed to an upstream approach to suicide prevention, addressing the challenges that our community faces due to their service to prevent a crisis.

Unlike many veteran service organizations, which are burdened by high overhead and are limited in their reach, Objective Zero is comprised of mainly volunteers and leverages the latest technology and a crowd-sourced model to deliver services on a massive scale, at a fraction of the cost. This means your donation goes even further, with roughly 96 cents of every dollar put toward our Program Fund, which is used to sustain and improve the Objective Zero mobile app and train peer supporters.

Our Impact

With the support of our partners and over 2,600 volunteer in all 50 states and 27 countries around the world, Objective Zero has connected over 14,000 community members to peer support and resources. With new updates and integrations underway and more users and volunteers signing up daily, our impact is set to grow over the coming months.

We NEED Your HELP

The Objective Zero mobile app is free and always will be for veterans and the military community. But it isn’t free to maintain. Data storage and technology expenses, which increase with each app user, must be paid to sustain the service. And because Objective Zero is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are completely reliant on generous contributions from people like you to keep the app alive.

For as little as $10 a month, you can become an OZ Battle Buddy, and help us continue to provide this critical resource to our nation’s brave veterans. Will you join us in our fight against veteran suicide by clicking on the 'Donate' button below and pledging your support?

Please email contactus@objectivezero.org if you would like to donate by check!
